Born and raised in Houston, Abraham has lived in the Lone
Star State his whole life. Abraham majored in History
during his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas
at San Antonio and St. Edwards University in Austin. He
graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Edwards
University. Following his undergraduate work, Abraham
attended the University of Texas School of Law on a
merit based scholarship for his exceptional academic
performance in college. He focused his studies on
understanding and mastering criminal law.
Mr. Kant's prior experiences include the prosecution and
defense of criminal cases. Abraham worked at the
Travis County District Attorney’s Office's family violence
unit where he assisted in the difficult prosecution of 1st degree
sexual assaults and severe cases of family violence. He
also worked at the Travis County Juvenile Public Defender’s
Office defending juveniles charged with crimes. Having
worked at the prosecutor's office and as a defense attorney, Abraham has a
deeper understanding of the process his clients face when
charged with a crime. Abraham's previous experience as a
prosecutor is a tremendous asset as a defense attorney. He
understands what the state is trying to accomplish, how the
system works, and how to best represent his clients. Whether
you are facing your first criminal offense or are a repeat
offender, Abraham will use his knowledge, skills, and
experience to help you obtain the best results possible. Mr.
Kant says, "I fully understand that even the best people
have dark days. I treat each client as a good person who
simply made a bad decision. I strive to be a comfort to
clients explaining their most trying times by listening and
treating them with the respect that everyone deserves."
